As we welcome July, we're embracing the heart of summer with slower days, sun-soaked adventures, and simple moments spent together. This month is all about lightweight favorites, easy essentials, and making memories under warm skies with the ones you love.
July Edition
A new month is here, bringing the heart of summer in full swing. July invites us into sun-soaked days, warm evenings that stretch a little longer, beach trips, backyard gatherings, and slow, golden moments with the ones we love most. As routines ease and summer unfolds, we’re leaning into the simple beauty of the season alongside our littles.
This monthly note is our space to pause, reflect on moments from our community, share what’s ahead, and offer a little inspiration for the month to come.
A Look Back at June
June was filled with simple, joyful moments. We kicked off summer with our End of Season Sale at 40% off, celebrated Father’s Day in our retail stores, and loved seeing how you styled your Quincy Mae summer favorites all month long.

A Simple Craft for July
DIY 4th of July Paper Star Garland
A simple, festive craft that’s low-mess and perfect for kids (and doubles as easy home decor).
What you need:
- Red, white, and blue paper (construction paper or cardstock)
- Scissors
- String, twine, or yarn
- Glue stick or tape
Optional: stickers, markers, glitter, or star stamps
How to make it:
- Cut out stars in different sizes from red, white, and blue paper. (You can pre-cut for younger kids.)
- Let kids decorate the stars with drawings, stickers, or patterns.
- Lay out your stars in an alternating pattern (red, white, blue or mixed).
- Attach each star to a piece of string using glue or tape, spacing them evenly.
- Hang your garland across a mantle, window, doorway, or backyard fence.
Optional twist:
Punch a small hole in each star and thread them onto string for a more “bunting-style” look.
A Note to Uplift + Encourage
“You are building a childhood filled with love, one moment at a time.”
