We are honored to name Baby2Baby as the Rylee + Cru Grant Recipient for the month of August.
Every child deserves the basics, a safe place to sleep, something to wear, food to eat, and the supplies they need to learn and grow. That’s where Baby2Baby comes in.
Baby2Baby is a nonprofit organization dedicated to providing children across all 50 states with essential items like diapers, formula, clothing, school supplies, hygiene products, and more. Over the past 15 years, Baby2Baby has distributed more than half a billion items to children and families through homeless shelters, domestic violence programs, foster care agencies, hospitals, school districts, and communities affected by natural disasters.
Led by Co-CEOs Kelly Sawyer Patricof and Norah Weinstein, Baby2Baby has grown from a grassroots organization into a nationally recognized nonprofit serving more than one million children in over 400 cities across the country. At the heart of their work is a simple belief: when families have access to basic necessities, they can put more of their resources toward food, rent, and getting back on their feet.
Diapers remain one of Baby2Baby’s most requested essentials. Nearly 1 in 2 families in the U.S. struggle to afford enough diapers for their children, creating challenges that can reach far beyond the changing table. To date, Baby2Baby has distributed more than 300 million diapers to families.
Their work extends far beyond diapers. Baby2Baby responds to disasters and emergencies across the country, provides maternal and newborn supplies to new moms, and works with school districts to make sure children have the essentials they need to show up ready to learn.
This school year, we’re proud to support that mission through our partnership with Baby2Baby.
For every Rylee + Cru backpack purchased, we’re donating one backpack to a child through Baby2Baby. Together, we’re helping put a backpack, and the supplies and sense of belonging that come with it, into the hands of a child who needs one.
Because of you, one more child will walk into their classroom this year with a backpack of their own, ready to learn and ready to feel like they belong.
