Rylee + Cru, a leading San Diego-based children's apparel brand, is thrilled to announce the opening of its first-ever flagship retail store in Carlsbad. This is a unique opportunity to be part of a pioneering venture in our brand's history and join our team as our Retail Store Manager. The grand opening is scheduled for November 1st.

Summary:

As the store manager, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the customer experience at our flagship store. Your responsibilities will include maintaining high operational and organizational standards, training new staff, and creating a welcoming store environment for customers and staff members. You will also be responsible for administrative duties, monitoring inventory levels, and placing new orders as needed. Additionally, you will collaborate with the executive team to develop and implement business strategies to meet sales goals and improve store performance.

Our ideal candidate should be motivated by customer satisfaction, passionate about our brands, and love the children's apparel industry! Excellent communication and leadership skills, along with interpersonal de-escalation and problem-solving abilities, are a must.

Responsibilities:

  • Implement store policies and procedures to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction
  • Motivate the sales team through training and mentorship
  • Build team relationships and lead toward common workplace goals
  • Hire, train, and oversee all new staff, making sure all hours of store operations are covered
  • Complete weekly cycle counts and send reports to inventory management.
  • Collaborate and assist in the design and merchandising of in-store displays
  • Have complete knowledge and be able to train staff on the store POS system (Shopify)
  • Complete administrative duties, including managing store budgets and updating all financial records

    Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or Equivalent
  • 3-5 years of experience working in a retail environment
  • 1-2 years of previous retail management
  • Experience in coaching and conflict resolution
  • Ability to work flexible hours to meet the needs of the store, including nights, weekends, and holidays
  • In-depth knowledge of basic business management practices and understanding of the Shopify POS system &/or Shopify experience

    Pay Range:
    USD $58,000 - $68,000 / yr. + additional bonus based on performance
