Last Thursday evening, we welcomed our community into our Carlsbad store for a special Mom's Night Out. An evening intentionally created to bring moms together for connection, meaningful conversation, and a moment just for themselves.
Guests arrived to mocktails, warm conversations, and the opportunity to slow down before settling in for an inspiring evening with Mom Needs a Moment author, Cassidy, alongside our founder, Kelli.
Cassidy opened the night by sharing the story behind Mom Needs a Moment, reflecting on the experiences that inspired her to write a book that reminds mothers of something so easy to forget: caring for yourself isn't separate from caring for your family, it's part of it. She then read an excerpt from the book, inviting everyone into its heartfelt message of grace, presence, and finding small moments of restoration in everyday life.
The conversation continued with a thoughtful Q&A between Cassidy and Kelli, where they explored motherhood, entrepreneurship, building businesses while raising families, and the ongoing journey of making space for yourself in the midst of it all. Their honest reflections resonated deeply, sparking meaningful conversation throughout the room.
Guests also experienced "Connecting with Fabrics," an interactive moment inspired by the book that encouraged everyone to slow down, engage their senses, and reconnect through texture and creativity. A simple reminder that moments of presence can often be found in the smallest details.
As the evening came to a close, what lingered most wasn't just the conversation, but the feeling of community. Seeing women gather, share stories, encourage one another, and leave feeling refreshed was exactly what we hoped this evening would be.
