October Edition

October is here, bringing crisp mornings, cozy layers, festive traditions, and plenty of reasons to celebrate the season. From pumpkin patches and Halloween fun to new arrivals and exciting things ahead, there’s lots to look forward to this month.

This monthly note is our space to share a few favorites from our community, look back at what we loved in September, give you a peek at what’s coming next, and bring a little seasonal inspiration your way.

A Look Back at September

September brought all the feelings of fall. We welcomed more Autumn Winter ’26, filled with cozy layers, sweet prints, and everyday favorites made for cooler days ahead.

We also welcomed Mushie × Quincy Mae—a sweet collaboration designed to bring our signature artwork to the table and make everyday mealtime moments (and little messes) a little more beautiful.

And across the Rylee + Cru Collective, the season continued to unfold with new arrivals, special launches, and plenty of autumn inspiration. September was sweet—and there’s even more to look forward to in October.

DIY: Little Ghost Garland

A sweet and simple Halloween craft for little hands. Make a few friendly ghosts together, then string them up for a festive touch in their room, playroom, or around the house.

What You’ll Need:

  • White cardstock or construction paper
  • Crayons or washable markers
  • Child-safe scissors
  • Hole punch
  • String, twine, or ribbon
  • Optional: stickers, yarn, pom-poms, or other craft supplies for decorating

Directions:

  • Make your ghosts. Draw a few simple ghost shapes onto white paper. Let your little one help cut them out—or have a grown-up prep the shapes ahead of time.
  • Give them some personality. Add silly, sleepy, surprised, or smiling faces. Little ones can decorate each ghost with crayons, stickers, or their favorite craft supplies.
  • Punch + string. Punch two small holes near the top of each ghost and thread them onto a piece of string or ribbon.
  • Hang your creation. Find the perfect spot to display your little ghost friends and enjoy your handmade Halloween décor.

QM Tip: Make it a memory! Add your little one’s name and the year to the back of one ghost before packing it away at the end of the season.

A Note to Uplift + Encourage

As the days grow shorter and the season begins to slow, let it be a little reminder that you can, too.

Not every day needs to be filled to the brim. Sometimes the sweetest moments are the simplest ones. A slow morning, a walk in the crisp air, little hands collecting leaves, or an extra cuddle before bed.

This season, give yourself permission to savor what’s right in front of you. You’re creating the memories they’ll carry with them, even in the quiet, ordinary moments.

With love,

Quincy Mae
