Did you know that roughly 828 million people around the world live in chronic hunger with 2.3 billion people facing high levels of food insecurity?
This World Hunger Day, we are honored to share our support of Feeding San Diego - the leading hunger-relief and food rescue organization in San Diego County. Feeding San Diego provides more than 35 million meals to hungry families, seniors, veterans college students, and people facing homelessness each year. 70% of the food distributed is high-quality food rescued from food donors and farms before going to waste. In 2022, Feeding San Diego was able to redirect nearly 28 million pounds of food from landfill to feed the hungry!
Since 2021, The Rylee + Cru Foundation has donated $50,000.00 to Feeding San Diego. This World Hunger Day we would like to invite you to join us in feeding the hungry! Donate or volunteer at a local food bank, serve a meal at a soup kitchen, or take steps to prevent food waste in your home.
