To be loved is one of the greatest gifts this life has to offer.
I still remember holding my daughter in my arms for the very first time. The flood of emotion that washed over me is something I’ll never forget. It was overwhelming and tender, sacred and holy all at once. In an instant, I knew I would do anything and everything to protect and nurture this little soul entrusted to me.
A mother’s love is something fierce.
It is the love that wakes in the night, that holds through tears, that celebrates every tiny milestone as if it were magic. It is the love that notices the little things — the soft curls after a bath, the sleepy hand reaching for yours, the way their voice says “mama” and somehow makes the whole world feel still.
It is a love that says, “You are mine, and you are beloved.”
And to experience that love returned is its own kind of magic. Not perfectly or predictably, but in the most honest, beautiful ways. In handmade cards, in sticky kisses, in arms wrapped tightly around our necks. In the way they look for us in a crowded room. In the way they need us, forgive us, laugh with us, and make ordinary days feel sacred.
And as they grow, that love grows too. It changes shape with every season — from rocking them to sleep, to watching them take their first steps, to seeing them spread their wings and become more fully themselves. We may hold them differently as the years go by, but a mother’s love never fades. It remains steady, instinctive, and forever woven into who we are.
This Mother’s Day, we celebrate the beauty of being BELOVED.
The mothers who pour out love daily in quiet, unseen ways. The children who fill our hearts fuller than we ever imagined possible. The bond between mother and child — tender, strong, imperfect, and sacred.
