Play Sourcing & Production Values
Ethical Sourcing & Transparency - Going Above and Beyond
At Rylee + Cru Collective, we have a deep commitment to ethical sourcing and transparency in production. We go the extra mile to ensure the well-being of our workers and maintain a close relationship with our factories. Our dedicated merchandising team works directly with the factories, regularly checking in on production and providing us with updates on sourcing. This personal connection allows us to uphold the highest standards and make sure everything is produced in the best possible production houses.
All our brands, including Rylee + Cru, are designed in California and made in China. When working with factories, we require them to sign a comprehensive code of conduct agreement that covers critical components such as prohibiting child labor, ensuring fair wages, and maintaining safe working conditions. The main enterprise overseeing these factories has been sourcing for renowned brands since 1992, with expertise in producing high-quality children's garments.
In recognition of their commitment to social responsibility, the factory that produces our Rylee & Cru brands was honored as the "Outstanding Case of Social Responsibility of Chinese Private Enterprises" by the National Federation of Industry and Commerce in 2018.
Certified Social Responsibility
Whenever possible, we choose to work with factories that are WRAP certified. WRAP (Worldwide Responsible Accredited Production) is the largest independent certification program in the apparel, footwear, and sewn products sectors. Being WRAP certified involves more than just passing an audit; it signifies a collaborative approach to social compliance. WRAP works closely with facilities to ensure they comply with 12 core principles related to ethics and social responsibility. Our facilities actively engage in this process and maintain effective management systems to meet compliance requirements.
Additionally, all Rylee + Cru factories are either BCI or BSCI certified. These certifications aim to transform cotton production worldwide, by addressing the the potentially negative impacts of cotton growing and processing. We are part of a global community sharing in this commitment. Through the certification and auditing process, our factory partners commit to continued improvements that are measurable for the environment, farming communities and the economies of cotton producing areas.

Sustainability Initiatives
All our packaging, including polybags and hangtags, is recyclable. We are conscious of the waste generated by the apparel industry and strive to make a positive impact. By ensuring that our packaging can be easily recycled at home, we aim to minimize unnecessary trash.
Our focus on sustainability extends to the quality and longevity of our garments. By sourcing the best cotton and materials, we provide longer-lasting, better-washing products that are not disposable. We believe in creating cherished baby garments that can be worn, loved, and shared with others, rather than being wastefully discarded.
